Wishing happy belated holidays to everyone! I hope all the readers of this and other MindTree blogs took time away from work to enjoy time with family and friends in the last few weeks.
Last week, I had the pleasure of going to Bangalore and spending time with my marketing team. One of the highlights of the trip for me was hosting MindTree’s first ever (completely) social media driven Webcast on January 5th. It was entitled “Marketing 2011: A Few Predictions and One Suggestion.” To generate audience, there were no email campaigns to MindTree’s 9,500 employee base (or MindTree Minds as we like to call ourselves). Rather, we promoted this Webcast exclusively through MindTree’s Web site, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Nothing more. We wanted to gauge our “reach” in the social media eco-system.
The marketing team did a great job and we had a great turnout with a lot of Q&A. If you missed it, the video replay is here. I would love to hear your perspectives.
