Ajay Paul is the Global Head and a valued member of MindTree's Travel and Transportation Industry Group with over 20 years of experience in IT and Consulting services. He has completed his graduation in Computer Science and later an MBA with a major in Operations Research. Ajay's specialization is within the Airline, Rail, and Global Distribution Service industries. He has built India based global delivery organizations for major Travel and Transportation IT companies to utilize the global delivery model in order to capitalize on the availability of highly-educated, technically-skilled talent in India and other emerging economies to deliver lower costs, higher quality, and productivity. He created a comprehensive outsourcing methodology that helped major US corporations reap the benefits of outsourcing in a systematic and thought-out manner. The framework provided IT leaders to a) think about outsourcing services at an enterprise-wide level; b) structure engagement models to align with IT execution phases to achieve flexibility; and c) act on a global level using strategic outsourcing to ensure predictability of cost, quality, risk, and meeting shared business objectives. He works well with both technical, business leaders, and executives in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams. With superb communication skills, Ajay has presented his work to audiences' at all organizational levels in major corporations worldwide.
