    Hi Bala,

Interesting and useful post! I believe this to be a very useful method to think through ideas and implementing them. The Evil scientist part is important – if we stay away from it, we will not be able to foresee how and when our ‘idea’ boat will get deflated (so to say) ;-)

For the above example the Evil scientist in me says: What about partial deafness caused due to listening with headphones?

Take care and happy posting ~~ :)

    Best wishes,
    Beena

    Hi Beena,
Thanks for the offline (or is it online?) dissent ;-) One variant of this ritual dissent is offline dissent, which is use email to dissent. This has worked well for us, since even in live dissent, we ask people not to have eye contact, so that only the objections are recorded.

    Thanks
    Bala
