    Hi Kalyan,
Happy Diwali. Thanks for sharing the Selco story today, after all Diwali is the festival of lights. Incidentally today afternoon on NDTV News Channel they showed how NDTVs Greeathon project has brought light to villages in Orissa by provided solar lamps to villagers – some 50 odd villages, till date, have been covered. The villagers can now hire solar lamps for Rs 2 a day and this is helping students with their studies. These students work in the fields during the day and study post dusk.
SHahrukh Khan has sponsored several villages, in this remote area, people did not know of him, but they are sure thankful for what he is doing. The url is below.

However, what SELCO is doing is truly innovative. Assisting/coordinating on the financial front truly means walking that extra mile for its customers.
    Best,
    Lubna

    Dear Mr. Banerjee,

Custom, Financial and Honesty – what a unique three-legged Innovation stool! And what a wonderful opportunity has been provided by MindTree to the interns from SMU!

Wonder whether yet another important “India Immersion Centre” for interns could be ITC’s celebrated rural initiative – e-Choupal – where learning can actually happen by observing and doing things at the grassroot level? Would love to know more about this from you please.

    Thanks and regards,

    Geetha
