Finalists for the best e-commerce innovation announced
 

Recognition for innovative and creative ways to create remarkable online shopping experiences

Mindtree has launched the e-commerce award 2014 with IGD, a membership organization for the retail and consumer goods industries with 800 members worldwide.

This industry award will be presented to a company that has delivered innovations or enhancements that have significantly improved the shopping experience of customers on its online sales platform.

The finalists for the inaugural year are:

  • Foodity for Online platform shoppable at mainstream CPG retailers
  • FrieslandCampina for Integrating a loyalty and retention programme
  • Kellogg's for See, find and buy Kellogg's Product online strategy
  • Mars Chocolate UK for Category conversion through conversion analysis
  • Waitrose for New web and mobile experience

The finalists shared a common thread, which was that of innovation in e-commerce, whilst almost always about creating an impact on their sales and market share. They also seamlessly linked to understanding and influencing consumer behavior. The finalists demonstrated that they are prepared to think outside traditional frameworks and try something new. This approach has led to outstanding examples of e-commerce.
