Video Based Traffic Solutions @ TrafficInfraTech Expo 2011

MindTree is demonstrating its video based solutions for Traffic Analysis, Toll Management, Parking Lot Management and Traffic Enforcement & Evidence Management at the Traffic Infra Tech Expo 2011, NSIC Exhibition Complex, New Delhi (2-4 February 2011).

These suite of solutions are reliable, easy to install, operate & maintain and enhance the productivity of personnel manning these systems.  The solutions have been designed to operate in Indian conditions.

MindTree's Automatic Traffic Counting and Classification (ATCC) system provides a high accuracy solution for conducting round-the-clock traffic pattern study for single/intermediate/2/4/6 lane roads. The system is entirely video based and captures an image snapshot for every vehicle that is counted and classified. This ensures integrity of data and makes it easy to audit/verify the survey data reports. Additionally, the data collected is tamper proof ensuring that the vehicle count, classification and speed data gathered cannot be deleted, modified or altered by any user.

MindTree's License Plate Recognition (LPR) Software is based on a proprietary, high accuracy Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine. The software is highly robust and delivers accurate results even in challenging environments where the location of the license plate and the fonts for the license plate are not standardized.

The Automatic Traffic Counting and Classification (ATCC) system and the License Plate Recognition (LPR) system can be used in combination to implement/monitor toll collection on the roadways or parking lots, thereby ensuring loss prevention for the operators or concessionaires.

MindTree’s Traffic Enforcement & Evidence Management System can be used by traffic enforcement authorities to detect incidents, manage evidence from time of capture till the time the violator pays the fine.
