Environmental concerns today make emission testing a critical part of the automotive industry. MindTree knows that vehicle diagnostics and emission testing have also become vital maintenance components for automotive OEMs, dealers, and vehicle maintenance companies. With remote diagnostics, OEMs can reduce warranty costs and improve customer relationships in the short term, and ultimately realize savings through design cycle and component quality improvements. Emission testing units are required to identify malfunctions in vehicle components that regulate fuel/air ratios (like EGR valves and oxygen sensors), detect dirty air filters, misfiring spark plugs, vacuum system leaks, or even a poor-fitting fuel cap.
