Video Surveillance

Video Surveillance Systems is one of MindTree’s core expertise areas with the experience of executing multiple product developments on different platforms. MindTree has developed its own IP which enables customers to buildIntelligent, Connected and Managed advanced Video Surveillance systems.

Some key case studies which demonstrate our capabilities include:

• Video Analytics suite for a variety of security applications such as crowd detection, object tracking, fire and smoke identification, significant activity detection etc.
• High-accuracy vehicle counting and classification software for traffic management
• Intelligent video-based solution for License Plate Recognition (LPR), which can be used with high accuracy even at 80 kmph, in dusty environments – SMS/email alerts based on preset rules
• Surveillance Management software which enables multipoint management of various components of a security system, such as access controls, sensors, fire alarms etc.
• Toll and Parking Lot Management software using video analytics, to enable counting and categorizing the vehicles for audit purposes, ticket generation etc.
• Feature-rich IP Camera development for an Indian OEM, supporting multiple resolutions upto 25fps and several interfaces including PTZ, ONVIF, SSD storage, Ethernet, WiFi, GPS and PoE
• PC-based intelligent application for detecting the faults in conveyor belts from camera feeds, used in mining industry

Access Controls

MindTree has worked with the leaders in the Access Controls industry, and has strong credentials  in the following areas and technologies :

Some key case studies that demonstrate our capabilities include:

• Development of Wireless-enabled RFID locks for a US-based customer, which helped them to save installation costs by minimizing the cabling required
• Integration of HID iClass, ISO14443B and AWID locks with Lenel’sOnGuard solution, enabling fully online operations and management
• Re-design of the customer’s Card Encoder (Insertion, Proximity and Motorized versions) to meet CE requirements – in record time - thereby saving millions of dollars in terms of product recall
• Product enhancement of an existing lock, to support MIFARE/NFC readers; this variant was a huge success, generating over 1M USD in the first month itself

• Multi-factor authentication device development for a European customer, using finger print, smart card and  PIN; with multiple features including MoC, MoD and enhanced security
• Integration of the customer’s Visitor Management System with 3rd party Badge Readers, WebCam devices and security systems such as Siemens SIPASS
• GPRS-based Door Access Controller for Indian market, with several enhanced features like customizes SMS support, visitor photo authentication, audio/video interface etc.
