MindTree has successfully designed and developed WebSphere-based solutions for several global clients. We have worked with versions of the WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce Server, WebSphere Portal, IBM WebSphere MQ, Process Server and more.

MindTree has also been involved in installation and configuration of various versions of IBM products. Our strength in Commerce Server technology has earned us the position of ‘primary IBM partner’ across various geographies. There are several instances of IBM and MindTree proposing solutions jointly.

MindTree has delivered many successful B2B, B2C, and B2E projects on IBM WebSphere technologies. Projects implemented can be classified as:
  • Simple informative portals
  • WebSphere Commerce based simple e-commerce portals with user management, product catalog, and order management; as well as complex e-commerce portals with merchandising, promotions, and analytics support
  • Integrated commerce portals with legacy systems (JDE on AS/400, mainframes) for back end order processing
  • Portals based on WebSphere Portal Server – developing frameworks, Generalizing portlets, interfacing with SAP, Lotus Domino, and Tivoli Directory Server
  • Dashboard facility using WebSphere Portlet Factory
  • Multilingual support – Spanish and Portuguese other than English
  • Integrating WebSphere Commerce based portal with Oracle Application Server using IBM MQ as the middle tier

All of these solutions utilized existing features of various IBM WebSphere based products, with customization wherever required. Most cases involved integrating portals with other IBM or non-IBM products, like the MQ, mainframe systems, or EDI/EAI applications. For most developed applications, our customers have chosen to continue working with us through annual maintenance contracts, underlining the confidence placed in our technical teams.
