MindTree Chairman & MD Ashok Soota Bestowed Most Innovative People Award in Knowledge Innovation

 

Soota recognized for contributions to Knowledge Innovation within the Enterprise, Society and Industry at large

 

MindTree Limited, a global IT and R&D Services company, announced today that its Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Soota has been conferred the Most Innovative People Award in the category of Knowledge Innovation at the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2008 in Dubai on April 2, 2008, organized by the Global Leadership Team.

The selection committee found Soota to have the foresight, courage, benevolence, connected leadership and execution excellence in the category of Knowledge Innovation. The award citation stated that Soota demonstrated creativity, compassion and community at innovating MindTree, the nation of India and the society of entrepreneurs around the globe.

This recognition comes on the heels of MindTree being recognized as India’s Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) in 2007 by Teleos, and being conferred NASSCOM’s Innovation Award 2007 for its knowledge ecosystem.
