MindTree to participate in Bluetooth World Congress
At the event, MindTree will announce the availability of a Bluetooth protocol stack and a new baseband controller.
MindTree has announced that it will participate in the Bluetooth World Congress, which will be held in Amsterdam during June 17-19, 2003. Bluetooth World Congress is the world's largest dedicated Bluetooth event. This year, it is being organized for the fifth consecutive year. The event is recognized as the “official global event” of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). With Bluetooth's adoption increasing rapidly among enterprises, this year's event will emphasize the experiences of vertical markets.
MindTree has sold more than 12 licenses of its products in the last two years, and its software is shipped as a standard - embedded option with at least one major silicon vendor. Some of MindTree’s software products are also incorporated into cell phones, computer mouses, keyboards and headsets (hands-free) of some of the leading brand names from Japan, Europe and Korea. MindTree has an end-to-end approach to Bluetooth, offering Bluetooth qualification board (BQB)-qualified components ranging from profiles and protocol stacks to baseband-controller blocks.
This is the second consecutive year MindTree will participate in the Bluetooth World Congress. Keeping in line with this year's theme, MindTree will showcase the usage of Bluetooth in real-world applications. Visitors can see the demonstrations of a stereo headset with voice and music capability; a wireless mouse; serial port adapters for industrial applications; and customized adaptations of Bluetooth. These solutions are ready-to-go, silicon IP/software, which can be embedded easily into application - specific ICs. Also, MindTree will announce the availability of a Bluetooth protocol stack and a baseband controller which is compliant to version 1.2 of Bluetooth specifications.
