The award is given by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) to two deserving companies every year. MindTree was among the top 25 last year, and this year we have come out in the top spot.

The selection process included feedback from regulatory agencies like the Stock Exchanges where we are listed; and the Registrar of Companies. Our good track record in terms of adherence to all applicable regulations, prompt filings, good disclosure and sound business practices helped us win this award.

MindTree was recognized for our inclusive approach whereby good governance means protecting the interests of all stakeholders, including customers, employees, shareholders, bankers and society at large. The Jury commended us for our clearly articulated CLASS Values and the processes for internalizing of those Values within our organization.

This award is a special one for us. I believe that the award and our continued focus on governance practices will take us closer towards becoming one of the most admired companies, not just in India but across the globe.
