As core networks become increasingly IP/MPLS based, voice and value-added services are provided on the same network. Operators are looking at deploying future-proof, backward-compatible infrastructure, allowing them to roll out newer services faster, improve customer acquisition and retention, while still increasing the average revenue per user (ARPU). Operators are also starting to adopt IMS specification put forth by the 3GPP governing body. They are deploying IMS infrastructure equipment such as Media Gateways, Session Border Controllers, and other IMS platforms to deliver new services. MindTree has deep understanding of fixed-mobile convergence, and the experience of working on leading-edge core routers, IMS Media Gateways, Session Border Controllers, Front Node systems, optical platforms, and linecards (legacy T1/E1).
MindTree has the expertise and experience to take ownership of new product lines as well as help with redesign and re-engineering of legacy products, ensuring RoHS compliance.
