Bluetooth® protocol stack and profile solution is  fully-configurable, customizable, resource-efficient, and portable. Explicitly engineered for a compact footprint, EtherMind is portable across 32-bit RISC and DSP processors, as well as embedded operating systems. The Bluetooth Protocol stack is designed to support various applications, including mobile phones and handheld devices, multimedia devices, LAN access points, residential gateways, printers, consumer electronic appliances and more.

MindTree Ethermind provides for:

Code compactness and configurability

EtherMind modules are compile-time configurable to enable activation of necessary features and functionality. This makes it the most compact implementation in the industry. Similarly, the static data elements are also configurable at compile time, allowing easy optimization of RAM requirements exactly as required for specific application/product scenarios. Other features that contribute to code compactness include:

Portability

EtherMind software is completely ANSI C compliant, and has several design features to assure easy portability:

Interoperability

EtherMind has high levels of proven interoperability with current products in the market. It is regularly tested for interoperability in UPFs, and for robustness against certain types of security attacks. EtherMind is also tested for compliance using PTS, and regularly re-qualified as well.

Comprehensive suite of offerings

MindTree develops and licenses all components required for Bluetooth® product development, in-house. We work with various partners for the radio and analog front end of the solution. Apart from separately licensing these components, MindTree provides integrated single-CPU solutions using the above components for applications like Bluetooth-enabled mouse, headsets, hands-free kits, and mobile phone dongles.
