Sub Band Codec

The MindTree Sub Band Codec (SBC) encoder is used to encode PCM audio, and the SBC decoder to decode encoded bit stream to PCM audio. This SBC is suitable for use in medium to high-quality audio applications. MindTree’s SBC features low complexity levels, ensuring smooth interoperability in accordance with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) specifications from the Bluetooth® audio/video working group.

Codec implementation is based on A2DP version 1.0 specifications. The SBC codec is also BQB qualified as part of the A2DP profile within the Ethermind software suite.

ClearMind (Acoustic Echo Cancellation and Noise Reduction Solution - AECNR)

Regulations in many countries now prohibit cell phone usage while driving, for obvious safety reasons. Hands-free technology has thus evolved significantly. The proliferation and sophistication of hands-free car kits has led to a growing demand from users for high quality speech free from acoustic echo and ambient noise.

The MindTree ClearMind Acoustic Echo Cancellation and Noise Reduction (AECNR) solution delivers high quality audio to the listener in challenging environments. ClearMind can be used in hands-free kits as well as high-end headsets.
