SOA Test Harness

MindTree’s SOA testing framework supports industry specific open specifications based on XML for OTA in the travel industry and IFX in the banking industry. For companies in the travel industry, it will address the need to test open travel alliance (OTA) compliant services. The framework has the capability to conduct functional as well as regression testing for their services.

OTA Test Harness is an automated solution that would enable trading partners to:

• Test OTA services - functional and regression
• Generate reports with respect to compliance and functional correctness
• Highlight compliance related issues

The SOA testing tool supports testing of systems based on SOA and industry specific XML specifications. The SOA testing tool will:

• Support a web front end for test administrators and test engineers
• Support testing of target systems using the following mechanisms
  
  • Web services (SOAP/http)
  • RMI/IIOP
  • MQ/MSMQ
  • .NET Remoting
• Support administration of domain related XML specifications like OTA and IFX
• Test planning with facilities to add test scenarios and test cases
• Test execution against target systems using the mechanisms mentioned above
• Report generation at the test case level and summary level
