Portfolio Analysis

Portfolio analysis and rationalization is a very important step in defining a robust and strategic IT roadmap. We take a two pronged approach to this activity

1.    Business Architecture Definition - Focuses on defining the business architecture for each of the business divisions and departments that have a touch point with IT. The business architecture is a conceptual view of the business and breaks it down into key functions and processes.

2.    Applications Portfolio Analysis - Focuses on analyzing current and future state of IT components. IT landscape comprises of applications, data and infrastructure to support business requirements.

This helps us determine the target platform options available and the rationalization for each business process and application.

We also look at cloud computing avenues for the different applications as part of the portfolio rationalization.

MindTree puts a strong emphasis on people and processes. Our belief is that people are the most important assets of an organization and should continually be given opportunities to add incremental value. An efficient process landscape goes a long way in achieving this goal.

We can help you achieve an efficient business technology organization with a streamlined and cost effective IT landscape that is scalable and robust to support the immediate and future business needs.
