MindTree Agile SDLC

MindTree Agile SDLC addresses the business demands of our customers by leveraging the benefits of Agile. MindTree collaborates with our customers in defining context specific approaches to derive project specific Agile SDLC.

MindTree Agile SDLC methodology is based on industry standard methodologies such as Scrum and XP. It encompasses a good balance of engineering and project management practices.

Iterative development and short delivery cycles provide for risk mitigation and corrective actions at early stages to meet release timelines. In a typical software development scenario the duration of each release cycle is 2 to 3 months. In an onsite-offshore or offshore model we suggest multiple iterations (or Sprints) of 2 or 4 weeks during each release cycle.

Service Offerings

We have implemented MindTree Agile SDLC successfully in the following types of projects.

  • Software Development: This includes application or product development, building an initial prototype of proof-of-concept, transforming a product idea into a demonstrable product
  • Software Maintenance: This includes application or product maintenance with respect to minor, medium, major or major enhancements).
  • Sustenance Engineering: This includes product sustenance across multiple platforms through ongoing bug fixes and other preventive maintenance activities.
  • Independent Testing: This refers to Agile Testing through embedded testing teams or independent testing teams.
  • Agile Assessment: Through this offering we work with our prospects and customers in assessing the current state of Agile implementation and present our findings. The objective of this assessment is to identify areas of continuous improvement and recommend action items that can optimize the benefits of Agile implementation.
