MindTree Video Analytics Software (VAS) is a collection of video based analytics algorithms that address persistent problems of a typical video surveillance system like event based alarm generation, activity detection algorithms, tamper alarms, video data mining, and video enhancements.

MindTree Video Analytics Software primarily analyzes the video frames and come up with ways to detect human beings or vehicles and their behavior, and essentially any pattern of interest, whether it is in motion or static.

Today, most video analytics algorithms require significant processing power and are not suitable for online real-time use. MindTree has developed unique patent pending algorithms that help to reduce complexity without sacrificing accuracy and hence run at near-real time performance on a DSP processor. The VAS algorithms are neatly tied with the ManageMind Surveillance Manager and can be tuned to raise appropriate alarms.
