Last month’s Travel Distribution Summit in Chicago was a great platform for us to forge new relationships and meet some innovators from the Travel industry. Our business team was led by Venkatesh Komarla, GM and Head of Analytics Practice and Ajay Paul, North American Head, Travel Industry Group. Venkatesh was a panelist in a discussion on CRM and Loyalty, where he shared his perspective on how application of Analytics to loyalty management can improve efficiency of loyalty programs.
After an eventful Travel Distribution Summit, we now look forward to the upcoming PhoCusWright Conference that will be held from the 16th -18th of November, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona. The theme at this year’s PCW Conference is “Chaos calls – Navigating the new”. We couldn’t agree more. In the fast-paced travel domain, change has been equally fast paced. The ecosystem has changed at an alarming pace with organizations trying as hard to adapt to these changes. The change has not just been restricted to advancement in travel technology but the way consumers perceive offerings from various companies, the way people book their travel online, new media and new channels amongst others. Hence the theme fits in perfectly with the current scenario in the travel domain.
So how do we “Navigate the new”? In a changing business environment we have to be agile to score over change through innovation and effective execution. That is our success mantra at MindTree to overcome change. We have been working with market leaders to make their systems and processes agile in order to maneuver around change. This is aided by our ability to innovate that helps create that differentiator for our clients, coupled with our ability to execute solutions that are complex, mission critical and that have global impact. In our decade long experience of working in the Travel and Transportation industry, we have helped organizations win over change and increase their lead at the top of the value chain.
It will be interesting to meet entrepreneurs, innovators and other folks from the Travel industry at PhoCusWright Conference and share experiences on how each one is navigating the new. I would like to invite you to meet us at the PhoCusWright Conference. I look forward to your interaction on this blog as we navigate through the new technology, new channels, and new challenges.
