Minimum Viable Cloud (MVC) is a cloud application management framework designed to accelerate development and deployment of cloud applications. It enables faster “go to cloud” while lowering the cost of ownership. MVC is a combination of methodology, a framework of patterns, and a solution accelerator that is based on 12 Factor App principles. It decreases time to value by introducing repeatability and reduces the number of technologies and tools that need to be maintained, thereby bringing down the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the solution. Cloud has evolved from a hardware platform to a services oriented model. KPMG forecasts that PaaS will be the fastest growing segment, growing from 32% in 2017 to 56% adoption in 2020.
